Pantech G500 Details

Andi Pantech G500 2'nd hand for sale not included Shipping..$210 only(White colour,good condition,box completed).

TJ Anyone know what the UserID and PW settings mean when refering to the GPRS and MMS capabilities of this phone, got all other info from my Service PRovider but they dun know what userID and PW is or what it means.

BTW, i bought this phone from Malaysia and brought it to Australia ad thats why im having this trouble..

Please help me!!!!

ri i'm thinking of getting this phone..so can anybody out there who hv this hp tell me more about it...i nw quite blur abt this hp as some said it didnt hv java but some do...pls help

Jason I am using pantech G500, a hotlink user, but i wonder why the MMS feature cannot be activated. Have went to the phone shop to ask for help to activate it, but i was inform that the phone model is not included in hotlink MMS services? can anyone help me? help!

ahyue i bought this hp last november(2004)..yup, it's stilll a baby n i luv it sooo much.. the screen is undeniably the best of all kind 256K colour. oops, the screens-internal n external are colourfullll...battery last long. camera is kewl. +flash +zoom..+stickerphoto.kewl.alarm?can set up to 5 at a time.ok.ringtones? loud n kewl.luv it when people stare at me when my hp rings..heheh.most functions are ok. the keypad is gud too. but the sms stuff..bcos it's from korea,most of the 'typing thing' is differ.made me spent lots of time typing..at first.inbox:oh,the sender's number comes out first,b4 the name.hate that cos i dunlike remembering hp numbers.no bluetooth,no infrared but got usb cable..overall,4 stars. i'm lookin 4rwrd to G100 anyway.. huhu ^_*

Alex I have one and I would like know where can I find the Data cable to connect to a pc?? If someone knows in USA

TJ Yes chinese characters are supported if desired. No u cannot download more languages like French, the phone does not support additional languages. There is no BT or IRDA on this phone and to get files on and off your comp you have to have a link cable. Once you have a link cable plug it into the phone and the computer via a serial port then install the phones software which can be found on the pantech website then, once in the software application, click the browser icon at the top left somewhere to enter the browser which acts as means to transfering ringtones and pictures. If you upload a picture to the phone it will be stored in the downloads directory of the phone. Unfortunately, you cannot get a picture from the downloads directory as your wallpaper for the main or sub screens, only pictures captured using the camera can act as wallpapers for the screen.

chocs_ is it possible to change the picture of the external LCD screen to one that u have captured from ur phone? and whats so quirky about the sms? considering buying this phone..anyone pls help. :)
